Echo Hill Outdoor School
The Echo Hill trip was probably one of my favorite things that I have done while at Carroll. I personally love getting outdoors and camping, so to be able to have the opportunity to go on this leadership retreat was fantastic. It really felt amazing to be able to get out and work in the fall air with my fellow leaders and friends. In return for the leadership training that Echo Hill Outdoor School provided for us, we helped to spread mulch around to their equipment areas. The whole process was really a team effort. We had some people that were spreading mulch, some that were pushing wheel barrows, and some that were tossing the mulch into the wheelbarrows. Then when someone got too tired to push the wheelbarrows back and forth, someone would always volunteer to push the wheelbarrow for awhile. I was amazed at how willing everyone was to lend a helping hand and to work their hardest to get the job done right.

Impact on Me
Multiple people that attended the Echo Hill Trip were individuals that I worked with on a leadership team. This trip allowed me to see them all outside of simply our clubs. This experience definitely allowed our leadership team to grow stronger and felt that we understood each other better.

Impact on Others
Outside of helping the Echo Hill Outdoor School by our service project, I felt that it also helped the Carroll Community College community. All of our major leaders on campus were able to join up together and make friendships that were not there before. Overall, this allowed Carroll Community College to also become a more interconnected community. By the campus leaders being connected, so were all the clubs.
